As our Operations Manager, Lizette coordinates the different teams at SDS. Lizette knows everything that goes on in our office, and makes everybody’s business her business. In addition to being a dental assistant for four years, Lizette is also certified in coronal polishing, sealant placement, orthodontics, and is our whitening expert.
Lizette is the liaison between Dr. Patel and the rest of the staff, articulating his visions for the office in a more coherent, comprehensive way. Lizette is, in many ways, Dr. Patel’s right-hand man, and proudly leads the SDS team according to his example of altruism, care, and integrity. What she likes most about her job is organizing lots of moving parts into a master plan, which is why Lizette’s favorite movie is Ocean’s 11.
LEAD DENTAL ASSISTANT
Claudia graduated from Northwestern Suburban College in Dental Assisting. After three years verifying insurance at a dental office, the world of dentistry piqued Claudia’s interest so much that she decided to make a career out of it. In fact, she has learned so much from Dr. Patel that she likes to think of herself as a “mini-doctor.” But she is still a kid at heart, and can’t decide whether she likes Aladdin or Lion King better.
As our friendly Sterilization Technician Timothy ensures all of our instruments exceed OSHA Standards and everything is fresh for you when you come. He will greet you with a warm welcome as you pass through his work area in the heart of our office. He has been with Schaumburg Dental Studio since June 2016 and has quickly became a very great asset to team SDS with his super positive attitude and detail to customer service. He is a graduate of Elgin Community College with a degree as a Certified Dental Assistant. In his free time, he enjoys reading Joel Osteen and Goosebumps books, attending local community events, family gatherings, making new friends, bowling on my weekend league, and taking care of my immediate, extended, and Schaumburg Dental Studio family.
Monica is one of our friendly chairside assistants who has been in the dental field since 2017. Her compassion and warmth will definitely put you at ease during your procedure. She loves interacting with patients and meeting new people. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the life-changing transformations and how a smile can change someone’s life. When she is not at the office she loves to spend time with her family and her cat Fiona.
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGEINIST
As a wife and mother of three children with the eldest being eighteen and the youngest eight years old. Dolly started working in the dental field back in 2012 at Schaumburg Dental studio as a receptionist and found a lot of interest and passion in the dental hygiene department. She quickly realized that she wanted to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Dolly graduated from Harper College in December and rejoined the SDS team in February as a dental hygienist. She is caring and compassionate and finds it rewarding to help improve her patient’s oral health by providing individualized care. Dolly looks at the positives in life and is optimistic about the future which is why her favorite movie is Interstellar.
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGEINIST
Maria Ochoa earned her Dental Hygiene Associate’s degree from Harper College. Since she was a child, she knew wanted a career in dentistry. She enjoyed and appreciated opportunities to work with people, so dental hygiene was the perfect career path for her.
As a dental hygienist, her mission statement is to provide every patient with optimal oral health, and education, and to deliver individualized treatment that meets each patient’s needs. She strives to improve oral health, and by extension, the overall health of her patients in every action she takes, every piece of advice she gives, or simply in the time she spends with them.
Being Part of SDS has given her the opportunity to sharpen her skills using the latest treatment and technology available in the area. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
NEW PATIENT COORDINATOR
At SDS Janet is the New Patient Coordinator. She is always working with the schedule and the team to get new and existing patients in to be seen. Janet graduated from Harper in 2020 with her Associate in Science. She is currently at UIC to finish her Bachelors in Disability in Human Development. Janet’s goal in life is to be able to help others and make an impact in their life. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family watching movies, and going out to eat. Her favorite game to play is Think like a Herd.
Lisette is the finances person in our office and she makes sure that our patients’ accounts are balanced and up to date. She is very detail-oriented which makes her a perfect fit for submitting claims and collecting missing information as needed. Her work quality is always consistent and has a strong work ethic. Her professional goal is to use her God-given talents to the best of her ability. She attended Goshen College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in business. During her time at Goshen, she was resident leader, manager of her school’s coffee shop, and was a sprinter for her school’s track and field team. Her love for track and field led her to the opportunity to help coach for Harvest Christian Academy track and field team. She tries her best to attend their meets and run with her team. When she is not working or spending time with her church family she watches The Chosen.

Himja has worked in the dental field for over fourteen years. Graduated From Harper College with Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in the year of 2008. Himja was born in India and she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry. Himja is passionate about patient care and makes sure that all her patients leave loving their smiles. Himja enjoys meeting new people and helping them live a healthier lifestyles. She loves cooking, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her family. Himja has been married to her husband for twenty years and has two boys ten and twelve. If you’re in the Schaumburg area you may catch Himja cheering her boys in a game of baseball from the sideline!
