Money can be a considerable barrier to receiving dental care, but it doesn’t have to be. At SDS, we offer various financial solutions to our patients because we believe that everyone deserves quality and affordable dental care and they shouldn’t have to bankrupt themselves to do so.

Financial FAQ’s

What insurances do you accept?

At Schaumburg Dental Studios, we accept all PPO insurance policies. This includes popular policies including MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian, Delta Dental, Cigna, American National, United Healthcare, and Humana.

If you don’t see your insurance provider above and would like to check if your provider covers our services, please call our office at 847-957-3537 and we will be happy to assist you.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We partner with dental insurance providers like iCare Financial, Lending Club, and CareCredit, where you can obtain coverage with 0% interest and no credit check.

If you are unsure how to proceed with obtaining insurance, we can help you apply in the office at no additional cost.

Schaumburg Dental Studios is not on the list of dentists provided by my employer. Can I still come to you for treatment?

Yes! In a PPO Plan, you pay less if you work with the dentists that belong to your plan’s network. However, if you’d like to work with a dentist outside of your provider’s network, you can absolutely do so, you simply pay a bit more.

Are all dental services covered by insurance?

Unfortunately, not all dental services are covered by insurance, but everyone’s coverage varies. If you would like to find out what procedures your insurance provider covers, please come to our office for a Complimentary Benefits Check. There, we will review your specific policy and let you know what is covered.

Will my plan cover the care my family will need?

The dental requirements of your family should be the prime consideration and a major motivation in choosing one insurance plan over another. If your employer offers more than one plan, make sure you review the exclusions and limitations of the coverage as well as the general categories of benefits. To ensure you get the best coverage, schedule an SDS Complimentary Benefits Check to discuss your family’s current and future dental needs before making a final decision on your dental plan.

Do you offer a discount for patients without insurance and paying in cash?

Yes! We offer an in-house dental savings plan that usually offers 5-10% off dependent on the procedure.

Can I set up a payment plan?

Unfortunately, unless you are receiving orthodontic care, we cannot offer payment plans. If you plan to pay in cash, the payment must be made in full at the time of the procedure.

If I have any additional questions, where do I go?

If your question was not answered above, please feel free to call us at 847-957-3537 and we will answer any remaining questions you have.
